Weight: Exercise can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight. People who exercise burn more calories and develop better muscle tone, so they generally look healthier.
Health: Regular exercise can help decreases a person’s risk of developing certain diseases such as high blood pressure which can lead to stroke and heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
Healthy aging: Women are prone to developing osteoporosis as they age, which means their bones become brittle, increasing the chance for injuries. Weight-bearing exercises including jumping, running, or brisk walking helps keep bones strong.
