Love love love Urban Vybe!! I have been coming to this studio for group classes since January 2024 as a local to the FM/Lewisville area. I am a yogi and love the infrared Vinyasa classes but have truly enjoyed the variety with Train45, hiityasa, flex and flow and the Pilates pop up classes! The yin yoga and meditation also offered in the evenings is wonderful for recovery and mindfulness. All of the instructors are incredibly kind and motivating with special shout out to - Jo, Kayla, Meme, Andrea, Caroline and Stacy, all amazing at what they do! I’ve lost over 65 lbs these last two years and got in the best shape of my life for my wedding! Thanks UV 💜

Yoga Fusion This was my first hot yoga class ever. Feel a bit uncomfortable because I was not used to it, but I loved the instructor Alison & the class and she made it a breeze to go thru all the movements and was very encouraging when I was struggling. The front desk as well as other patrons were very friendly and accommodating as well. They provide towels for you to use and cold towels at the end of the class. Will be back 🙂

Infrared Flex & Flow Very good workout. The class was in the second room in the back. It was 3 rounds of moderate paced vinyasa yoga/stretching and weights (light and heavy set for arms, squats) + exercise band for some leg lifts. Shavasana at the end with a cold essential oil towel yes please. I walked in thinking it would be just yoga for some reason, but the extra exercise was good for me. You can always adjust difficulty to your own level. Sloane is so awesome and fit, I want to be like her when I grow up haha.

Beginner Yoga FAQ

No. Flexibility is something you can build over time. Beginner yoga classes at Urban Vybe are designed so you can start where you are, use modifications, and move at a pace that feels right for your body.

Yin Yoga and Meditation and Yoga Fusion are approachable first choices for many new students. Train45 can also be a good fit if you want guided strength work, and Aerial Yoga offers a playful option with instructor support for setup and safety.

Some heated classes can be beginner-friendly when you pace yourself and take breaks. If you are new or heat-sensitive, tell your instructor before class and consider starting with Yoga Fusion, Yin Yoga and Meditation, or another lower-intensity option first.

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable clothes you can move in. If you are trying Train45, bring tennis shoes. Arriving a few minutes early gives the team time to help you get oriented.

Plan to arrive a few minutes before your first class. That gives you time to check in, ask questions, get settled, and let the instructor know you are new.

Yes. Modifications are welcome. Urban Vybe instructors can offer options for poses, equipment, pacing, and intensity so you can participate without feeling like you have to keep up with everyone else.
