The combination of cardio and barre provides a no-impact exercise program developed to use a ballet barre and light weights with a series of resistance and toning exercises that target your torso, arms, legs, and butt. It tones and strengthens your muscles and provides a cardio workout. Cardio Barre classes typically include a mixture of weight training and ballet movements, and can include ab work, knee bends, and continuous fat-burning elements.
Our Kardio Barre class incorporates the ballet barre, a long rail positioned against a wall that dancers use. It helps balance and stabilize the participant during exercises, and as a result strengthens their core. The barre also allows a person to isolate certain muscles at a time.
